Mano Erina’s Major Debut 1st Anniversary (18/03/09 - 18/03/10)

Yesterday, 3/18/2010, is Mano Erina’s major debut 1st anniversary.

I’m amazed that Mano Erina is barely celebrating her first year as a major solo artist, since it seems like only yesterday that she released Otome no Inori and started her career as H!P’s only solo artist.

Since then she has released a lot of singles in a short span of time (a single every two months) and each has had it’s own unique sound along with a unique theme (not counting the same theme for CD covers).

So far all of her major singles have accomplished a total of 115,824 sales among 6 singles and she practically did this alone with a lot of hard work promoting herself through dramas, TV and radio appearances.

She practically went from being an unknown cute girl to being a talented and professional solo artist who has already become the recipient of one of Japan’s most prestigious awards, the 2010 JAPAN GOLD DISC “Best 5 new artists” award.
